General Terms and Conditions and Cancellation Policy (hereinafter referred to as GTC)
1. Reservation of accommodation in Pension U Pštrosa
Reservation of accommodation in the Pension U Pštrosa and confirmation of this reservation by the Pension is possible only in written form, usually by e-mail. The confirmation of the reservation is either the automatic e-mail confirmation generated by the respective online reservation system or the e-mail confirmation directly from the reservation system of the Pension U Pštrosa.
2. Cancellation of accommodation reservation in Pension U Pštrosa
Cancellation of a confirmed reservation can also only be made in writing, usually by e-mail. The exact method of cancellation is determined by the booking system used by Pension U Pštrosa for the reservation. When booking the accommodation directly through the booking system, an e-mail with the cancellation notice to the Pension U Pštrosa is considered a cancellation. When cancelling a booking made through an external provider (e.g. Booking.com, Hotels.com, etc.), the booking must also be cancelled through this external provider in the manner required by them. In this case, written notice of termination to Pension U Pštrosa is not considered proper notice of termination.
3. Change of reservation in Pension U Pštrosa
A request to change the reservation, i.e. to postpone the ordered services in the original scope to another date, is considered a cancellation of the original reservation according to point 2 of these conditions and is subject to the same regime as the cancellation of the reservation.
4. Cancellation fees
In the event of cancellation in accordance with points 2. and 3. of these terms and conditions, Pension U Pštrosa is entitled to cancellation fees in accordance with these terms and conditions, unless otherwise stated: Cancellation 10 days or more before the date of arrival: FREE, cancellation 10 days (inclusive) or less before check-in date: 100% of the total price of the accommodation booked in the cancelled reservation. For group bookings, i.e. bookings for more than one room, individual terms and conditions apply, which are determined by the Pension U Pštrosa when confirming such a booking.
5. Suspended stays
Pension U Pštrosa can set a special cancellation fee regime for the so-called top seasons, i.e. the most attractive accommodation periods (e.g. New Year's Eve, holidays, etc.). In these special cases, Pension U Pštrosa may require a non-refundable deposit to confirm the requested reservation. Such deposit is non-refundable, therefore the early cancellation clause under clause 4 of these terms and conditions does not apply. When requesting a reservation, the guest will be informed in good time that the desired reservation is in the so-called "top season" and that this reservation is not subject to the usual cancellation provisions of these GTC.
6. Non-arrival of the customer
If the client does not arrive on the booked date and does not cancel their reservation in writing, the reservation is cancelled and the provisions of point 4 of these GTC apply.
7. Check-in and check-out times
Check-in is possible from 3 pm to 9 pm. If the guest arrives after 7.00 p.m., they must notify the Pension U Pštrosa by e-mail or telephone and inform them of the estimated time of arrival. If a guest does not report a late arrival time, Pension U Pštrosa cannot guarantee the entry. Earlier check-in is possible if the apartment or room is available, free of charge, by arrangement with Pension U Pštrosa. The guest must leave the apartment or room by 10 a.m. on the last day of the valid reservation (check-out). It is only possible to leave the apartment or room later after prior arrangement with the guesthouse and such an action is not guaranteed. These General Terms and Conditions are contractual and may be amended in special cases by another contract or agreement with the Pension U Pštrosa.
